Greetings to all fans of extreme sports! Together with STK Peloton, we talk about the upcoming race in as much detail as possible.
-Friday, March 13th: 12:00 – The service park at the Cedar sanatorium will open. Arrival of the participants, the latest equipment preparations, acquaintance with the bivouac. The atmosphere is heating up.
13:00 – The competition headquarters will start working. This is where the official part will begin: administrative checks, medical examination, issuance of GPS Unik1 devices and Aclive security trackers.
13:30-15:00 – Technical inspection. The judges will check every bolt, every strap of the equipment. Helmets, protection, gluing, fixing navigation — everything should be perfect.
15:00 – Navigation and safety briefing. How to take points, how not to run into a fine, what to do in case of an accident. Knowledge is power.
16:30 – In the Telegram channel (t.me/mfr_rr_off ...) The start list of the first stage will appear. Names, numbers, countdown minutes — now it's official: We're in business!
17:00 – A short road section (about 7 km) and the first participant will go to the SSU (super-special stage) with a length of 4.7 km. It's a fight all at once: full throttle, virgin snow, heart in your heels. And this is not a warm—up - the SSU time will be counted and will determine the starting order for Saturday's stages.
18:00 – The last participant finishes. Emotions are running high, but it's too early to relax.
20:00 – Mandatory briefing. Error analysis, important information for Saturday, answers to questions. Attendance is mandatory (lateness = 5000₽ fine).
Saturday, March 14th: The longest day of the race. 100 km of speed, snow and character
Kuzbass will be startled by the roar of engines — Saturday will be the main test for all participants. There are almost 100 kilometers of combat special stages ahead, two tracks and only one goal — to reach the finish line and save the chances for the Cup.
9:30 a.m. – The first participant will leave for SU2. The starting order is determined by Friday's results: whoever passes the SSU faster is the first to break into the 55-kilometer virgin land. It's not just riding, it's scouting through combat. The navigator leads from point to point, gas relief on limits, gas to the floor on straight lines.
The main thing is not to lose your pace.
There is a long–awaited respite between SU2 and SU3. The regrouping will take place at the Nebo Cafe (Sector E), where the service's exit park and refueling area will be located. The participants will arrive here after the finish of the first special stage. Seconds will turn into minutes: mechanics will fill the tank, check the running gear, wipe the snow off the glasses. You can take a deep breath and drink hot tea, but time is strictly limited — it doesn't count, but you can't stay late either. Then — start again, already on the SU3, 45 km of the route in the opposite direction.
The terrain is changing, the speed is increasing, and fatigue is accumulating. Who will keep their concentration until the end?
13:40 is the approximate finish time of the first crew. They will pass both special stages and see the finish line. Emotions? A mixture of exhaust, adrenaline and relief. But the race will continue.: Dozens more participants will be on the track.
~18:20 – The last one finishes. The sun is already low, but the fight will not stop for a minute. Someone will meet the standard, someone will get penalty minutes, someone will get off. But the main thing is that they will do it: 100 km in one day.
21:00 – The launch list for Sunday will be published in the Telegram channel. The order will be determined by the sum of the time of the two stages (Friday + Saturday). Sunday is the final. The final 60 km (SU4 and SU5), the last chance to reach the podium.
Sunday, March 15th: the final! So, two days are over. SSU, a hundred kilometers of Saturday track, sleepless nights of mechanics and nerves of steel of pilots. All this leads to one day — the final of the first Russian Snowmobile Rally Cup. On Sunday, 15.03, in Sheregesh, the names that will go down in history will be determined.
9:30 – Short (a couple of kilometers) – liazon and the first participant leaves for SU4. The starting order is based on the sum of the two previous days. Someone starts first and tries to escape, someone catches up and takes a risk. The track is 30 kilometers, compressed into one fist: gas, points, the error limit is zero.
There is a final respite between SU4 and SU5. Service park and refueling. Seconds to take a breath of air, take a look at the technician, fill up the tank, the 7-kilometer road section and go back into battle. The last 30 kilometers separate everyone from the finish line and from the title.
11:40 is the approximate finish time of the first one. If you are lucky, he will cross the line and become inaccessible to rivals. But the race is not over until the last one finishes.
~14:30 – The last participant finishes. Behind 170 kilometers of special stages, five combat segments, mistakes, repairs, adrenaline and smiles. Someone will cry with happiness, someone will bite their lips with annoyance. But they all did it — they reached the final.
16:30 – The final classification is published in the Telegram channel. Now everything is official: the absolute standings, two-stroke, four-stroke, snowbikes "Basic" and "Veterans". The names of the winners and the sole winner of the Motorcycle Rally Cup are written in the protocols of the MFR.
17:00 – Cedar Sanatorium. The solemn presentation of prizes. Champagne, medals, cups, and tired but happy eyes. The first-ever Russian Snowmobile and Snow Bike Rally Cup has been completed.
In the meantime, prepare your equipment, check your gear, and tune in for a historic event. Meet me at Cedar!
